Member Golf Events

2023 Member Events
President's Cup: The Presidents Cup is a yearlong two-person Match Play event. Teams are placed into flights based on combined handicap. The cost is $100 per team or $50 per players with 1st place team winning $800, 2nd place team $400 and $200 for each semi-finalist team in each flight, based on a full bracket. This event is open to all members.
Monday Night League: Teams comprised four players weekly compete against one other team each week on Monday nights. Season goes from late April to mid-September. First half winning team and second half winning team will face off final champion in September.
OCC Points: NEW points system this year! Season long accumulating points system based upon placement in participated events. A portion of the fee for OCC Points events goes towards the prize money for the OCC Cup Final. Top 24 plus ties will make the OCC Cup final and "Player of the Year" in the end of September.

April 5th - Men's Opener: The Men's opener is the start of Wednesday golf. This is also the first chance that you can get signed up for early events and season long passes and subscriptions.
April 5th - Masters Party: The Masters Party is a celebration of the "Super Bowl" of golf tournaments. Come on out early and get the season started on a good note. We will be celebrating all night and the festivities start around 6pm. We hope to see you here.
April 13th - Women's Opening Social. 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
April 22nd - Straight River Open: The Straight River Open is the opening member tournament of the year. It is a ONE PERSON SCRAMBLE which is a ton of fun and a confidence builder. The event will be held at 9:00am on April 22nd and is open to both Men and Women.

May 3rd -Super Skins: The Super Skins is a yearlong skins event. We take half of the pot to pay skins today and half goes to the year-end skins game. The top skin winners (gross & net) from each month will play for the super skins in September. Super Skins is held the first Wednesday of each month. Sign up in the golf shop.
May 19th - Wine & 9: These are fun and casual events. The event will begin at 5:00pm with a shotgun start. Wine and appetizers are available every third hole. The only rule is HAVE FUN!
May 29th - Memorial Day Best Ball: The Memorial Day Best Ball is a two-person best ball event. We have both a Gross and Net event. 9:00am Shotgun.

June 3rd - One Day Member Guest: The One Day Member Guest is a great way to bring friends or family out to the club to play. The format is 2 best balls of 4 and is a shotgun start at 1:00pm. You can either bring 1 or 3 guests and you are welcome to pair up with whomever you would like. The cost is $60 per person and includes golf, cart, dinner and prizes.
June 7th - Super Skins: Second super skins of the year. Sign up in the pro shop.
June 19th - Father/ Child: The Father/Child tournament is a great way to bring your kids out to play on Father's Day. Tee times will be blocked in the afternoon for the event. The events will vary based on the children's age.
June 25th - Founders Gala: The Founders Gala is a celebration of those who helped make OCC what it is today. If you are a founder, you will see information regarding the tournament soon.

July 4th - Flag Day Tournament: (OCC Point Tournament) The OCC Flag tournament may be the most unique at the club. Here is how it works. Each player that tees off will receive a flag with their name on it. You will play until you hit 71 shots (par for the course) plus your handicap strokes and drop the flag, once you have reached your limit. Make your own tee time.
July 5th - Super skins Third super skins of the year. Sign up in the pro shop.
July 6th, 7th, & 8th. The Shea Invitational: The member-guest is one of the "can't miss" event of the year. The practice round is Thursday, and a combined five, nine-hole matches on Friday and Saturday. Shootout for final champion after all matches are complete. Reach out to Jon Vee for further details and sign up.
July 13th: Ladies Invitational: The Ladies Invitational is a four-person best ball tournament, attracting players from all over the state. We have strong participation from OCC as well. This is a great chance to invite some friends to play and have a great day of golf, lunch and prizes. Reach out to Jon Vee for further details and sign up.
July 14th - Kid's Night Putting Contest
July 28th - Mr. & Mrs Championship: We will have a Couples Championship! Includes cart, dinner and field event prizes! The event will begin at 5:30pm with a shotgun start.

August 2nd -Super Skins Fourth and final super skins of the year. Sign up in the pro shop.
August 12th & 13th - Keystone Cup (Member-Member) Saturday format - Scramble, Sunday format, partners Best Ball. The top five teams will then play a nine contest for the overall results.
August 24th - Ladies 9 hole Guest Day Member Guest is a great way to bring friends or family out to the club to play. 5:00pm Shotgun. You can either bring 1 or 3 guests and you are welcome to pair up with whomever you would like. Includes golf, cart, dinner and prizes.
August 26th & 27th - Club Championship This is a great opportunity to test your game and have fun.

September 4th - Labor Day Classic: The Labor Day classic is a two-person team event. It is a 6-6-6 event. 6 holes best ball, 6 holes scramble and 6 holes alternate shot. This event is a 9:00am shotgun start.
September 6th -Super Skins Finale: Qualifiers from the previous superskins will have a skins game with the accumulated pot from the season.
September 9th & 10th - Ryder Cup: The OCC Ryder Cup is one of the best events of the year. All members are encouraged to sign up. Teams are selected by the captions of the USA and Europe teams. All matches and tee times will be scheduled with comparable handicaps. If you have never played in a Ryder Cup type event, they are the most fun you will have all year. Tee times begin at 8:00am each day.
September 23rd - OCC Cup Points Final. After all the OCC point events are complete, we will take the top 24 in points, plus ties to play in a 1 PM shootout. We will have a team event and Individual awards to determine a "Player of the Year".

October 8th - The Polar Bear Scramble: This event is a three-person scramble open to members and non-members. Event begins with a shotgun start at 9:00am. Teams are flighted into either an A or B flight. This is a great chance to bring friends out for one last tournament of the season. After golf, we will have a keg of beer and a chili bar set up.
