Hole # 1 - Jerry Deetz - Founding Member
The first hole is a deceptively short, difficult par 4. It is important to put your tee shot to a place where you can see the elevated green guarded by two bunkers. On in regulation is key to making a par to start your round. Here is hole #1 as described by Founder and member #1 Jerry Deetz: The last time I played the 1st hole was in May of 2019. I used my driver and I hit it good, therefore it went about 155 yards from right to left and it did not get over the hill. My second shot I hit a 5 wood and it hit the bank in front of the green and stayed short of the green. I then chipped it on the green and was 15 feet from the hole. My first putt was just to the left of the hole and I made my next putt for a 5.
